I’m Kate Yabsley and I’ve been helping clients relax and rebalance their lives for 5 years.

What is Reflexology?

​

There are 3 main ways to deliver Reflexology treatments - on your feet, your face or your hands.  I offer all 3!

​

The theory, which was developed in the 1930's, is that your body is mapped to your feet, face and hands and this connects

to the nerve endings in those areas.  There are about 7,000 nerve endings in your feet alone!

​

Have a look at the map of the feet below.  You'll see your head and neck are linked to your big toes.  Your stomach is on the

left foot and your liver is on the right.  The heel of the feet is the lower back/pelvis region.  Everything else is in between, on

the top of the foot and on either side.  It's the 'whole' foot that's mapped.  The same principle applies to the hands and the face.

Foot Reflexology is the most popular treatment - and the most well known.  It's been described as a full body massage but

just on the feet.  Clients have felt so relaxed in my chair, they don't want to leave it.

​

Reflexology works alongside conventional medicine and professional medical advice should always be sought first.

Fertility Reflexology

​

Having been through my own struggles to conceive, I understand how emotionally and physically draining this time is. 

Whether you are trying to conceive naturally or having support through IVF, I am here to help.  Together we will schedule

your treatment time so it coincides with your menstrual cycle and makes the most of those important fertile days.

​

But don't make it all about you!  What about your partner? 

You are on this journey together so why not book them in for a treatment too.

Maternity Reflexology

​

If you are pregnant and want a relaxing treatment or you have pregnancy related issues e.g. SPD, 

Reflexology can help.  

​

If I have not been your Reflexologist prior to becoming pregnant, I do not provide treatments if you are less

than 12 weeks or over 37 weeks. 

This is a personal choice and I'm happy to recommend other local Reflexologists.

What is Reiki?

​

Reiki is an 'energy' based therapy where the 'healer' uses their hands to channe l 'universal energy' and

transfer this through the crown of their head to the palm of their hands and into the client.

​

This is done at each 'Chakra' point along the body starting with the head, the Crown Chakra, and down the body

to the Base Chakra - located either at the tailbone (where you sit down) or at the feet (where you connect with the Earth). 

 

There are 7 main Chakra points - identified in the image below - but more advanced Practitioners may work on up to 15

Chakra points.

This is a non-invasive treatment and requires the client to remain fully clothed whilst laying on a treatment couch or

in a reclined chair.  If this is not possible, an upright position is fine too.
